[With the One Week/Game project officially underway I have some catching up to do. Today I'll talk about Monster Monster Monster Party Party Party, the third game made in this project!]
The third One Week/Game project is Monster Monster Monster Party Party Party.
Developed for the both the Global Game Jam using the theme of deception and the Gamma 4 competition by using a single button to play. In MMMPPP (the official abbreviation endorsed here!) monsters have decided to have a night out on the city. Unfortunately for us that means by the end of the night the city will be burned to the ground.
Developed between Jan. 30th to the Feb. 1st. Made in Flash using the flixel engine.
One more issue is that video gaming has become one of the all-time largest forms of entertainment for people of every age group. Kids enjoy video games, and also adults do, too. The particular XBox 360 is one of the favorite games systems for folks who love to have a lot of activities available to them, plus who like to experiment with live with people all over the world. This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of “neighbors” will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.
